Hey girl,
No I wasn't taking it personally (I can't afford to take anything personally
with the business I’m in) :). And, as you were trying to be considerate of
my feelings, don't worry, I was not in the least bit embarrassed by what you
felt the need to communicate here. It's something that all should be
reminded of on occasion.
As you were trying to strongly emphasize the point, function, and form of
the club, I was likewise trying to emphasize that I understood it, and that
in this case, I simply viewed the circumstances differently and why. Also, I
had emailed a member in advance (not well in advance, but in advance
nevertheless :) )saying that I was planning on maybe coming along and
bringing him, asking if that was OK. I had no objection.
Also, I'm not understanding your second sentence below...and what you are
trying to say.
Thanks,
Chalyn

Apparently you took this personally, which was not my intent. If you want to
include your boyfriend in events, then please email the people you want to
attend the event personally and don't use the childfree mailer. The minute
you see "CHILDFREE" in the mailer, (ie, the email address
<childfree at lists.robsims.com> it is a childfree event. If that's unclear,
please let me know.
