Salida, Colorado - The Colorado Brewers Guild will join brewers across the
United States in the nation-wide American Beer Month celebration when it
hosts the 9th Annual Colorado Brewers Rendezvous on Saturday, July 2, 2005.
The Rendezvous, sponsored by the Colorado Brewers Guild and the Salida
Chamber of Commerce will be held in the Salida Town Park, on July 2nd from
1:00pm to 5:00pm. Sample beer from over 34 Colorado Breweries plus a few
from New Mexico! Food concessions will be available and there will be live
music. Admission is $20.00 per person and includes a collectable pilsner
glass and twelve tickets for tasting. Each ticket is good for a 4 oz.
sample. Non-alcoholic root beer will also be available for tasting. You must
be 21 to enter to sample beer.

American Beer Month, designated as the month of July, will again introduce
beer drinkers across the country to the variety and quality of American
beer. The Colorado Brewers Guild, a trade association dedicated to the
Colorado craft brewing industry, facilitates American Beer Month activities

No other nation offers as many different and exciting, flavorful beers as
the United States, with thousands of different ales and lagers now available
to consumers in all regions of the country. American Beer Month is an
excellent opportunity for everyone to tap into the rich heritage and
tradition of American brewing, as well as the unique flavors offered by
their local brewpub, microbrewery or regional specialty brewery.
