<div style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Geneva; COLOR: black; mso-hansi-font-family: Geneva; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'"><FONT size=3><FONT face=Times>3.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>This year our competition was selected by two homebrew clubs on opposite corners of the United States as a neutral judging site for an IPA brewing challenge between their clubs.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The Oregon Brew Crew in Portland and the Tampa Bay Beers in Florida each plan to enter about 12 IPAs each in 8 Seconds of Froth to get feedback from our Rocky Mountain Front Range judges (and maybe to see if our judges know how to judge hoppy beers!).<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I expect this normally large style category to be much larger than normal.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>As a result, we are planning to schedule the judging for the IPA category on Sunday afternoon, May 7<SUP>th</SUP>—starting at about 1:00 pm.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>I’m anticipating that we will need at least 8 judges for this earlier judging session.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Please contact me directly by email if you would like to judge.
