<div><br></div><div>Liquid Poetry Slam</div><div><br></div><div>Our summer homebrew competition is approaching quickly - it's going to be held June 6th at the newly opened Equinox Brewery next to Hops and Berries. <div><br></div><div>* We'll be looking for volunteers for a planning group to handle various things like picking up and organizing the entries, contacting local resources, etc. Let someone at the meeting know if you would like to help out.</div>
<div><br></div><div>* If you are interested in judging or stewarding we'll have a sign up sheet as well, you can register online, or you can send me an email.</div><div><br></div><div>* And of course we'll be looking for a good showing of entries - it's always nice to have a good showing at your own competition. The online registration at the link above should be working.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Next IBC</div><div><br></div><div>Looks like I get to pick the next one, so I'm going to go with a "Lemon-esque" challenge. Essentially the best beer that incorporates some sort of lemon flavor wins. It doesn't have to be actual lemon - lemon verbena, lemongrass, lemon skittles are all potential ingredients. August is probably the best month for judging this so let's plan on that for the moment.</div>
