A couple of things I forgot to add:<div><br></div><div>FCB Tour</div><div>Fort Collins has offered to show people around the new brewery before the meeting. Meet at the tasting room at 6:30 if you are interested.</div><div>
<br></div><div>Queen of Beer</div><div>This is an annual women-only competition that is coming up. Emily Heaton won best of show here a couple years ago, and we've had good luck in the past. Entries are accepted 9/24-10/8, and more information is available here: <a href="http://queenofbeer.hazeclub.org/">http://queenofbeer.hazeclub.org/</a></div>
<div><br></div><div>BJCP Study Group</div><div>There has been a fair amount of interest in starting up a BJCP study group and organizing a test in the area. Jay Shambo has offered to organize things, so let him know if you are interested (<a href="mailto:jayshambo@comcast.net">jayshambo@comcast.net</a>). More information is available at the BJCP site: <a href="http://www.bjcp.org/study.php">http://www.bjcp.org/study.php</a>, and I'll try to bring some additional details to the meeting so people can see if that sounds interesting.</div>

<blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">Howdy folks, our meeting for this month will be held at the new Fort Collins Brewery this Thurday, September 2nd at 7pm. For those who don't know, the new brewery location is at the corner of Lincoln and Lemay in Fort Collins (just down the street from Odell).<div>
<br></div><div>Here's the agenda:</div><div><br></div><div>Iron Brewer Challenge</div><div>Bring your entries for the lemon-esque challenge. Each entry is $5, and the winner takes all plus a chance to brew it on the Equinox pilot system, along with being able to throw down the next challenge.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Muse Cup</div><div>Our mead-only competition will be held on the 26th at Equinox Brewery. Entries can be dropped off at Hops and Berries through the 17th. We'll be looking for volunteers to sort and organize the entries, and to steward and judge at the competition.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Tasting Panel</div><div>With the Muse cup coming up, let's bring some meads/ciders to try out in a panel setting. We will also have tasting panels for beers you are looking for more feedback on as well.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Hope to see you all there!</div><div><br></div><div>matt</div>
