All,

Meeting:

This month's meeting is at Anheuser-Busch. We have extensive tours lined up at 5pm, 5:15pm, and 5:30pm. They will be 60-90 minutes long with knowledgeable employees giving the tours. Last years tours were quite extensive behind-the-scenes tours and incredibly interesting.

IMPORTANT: To go on the tours you will need pants, sleeved shirt (no tank tops) and closed toe shoes. Hats would be great, but there are paper hats if necessary.

After the tours we have a talk with Nikki Knafelc at 7 with a basic taste training and then the process on approving adjuncts at AB. She wrote the book on such for AB so come engaged with questions.

The meeting will be held in the lobby at the front entrance of the glass building on the east side of the main brewery; not the tour center. Coming north on Busch Drive from I-25, the turnoff is to the administrative offices, which is before the tour center. Everyone can park on the right hand side parking lot (see attached map).

August Events:

Summer BBQ: Our summer BBQ is coming up. Please bring sides and/or desserts. This is a family friendly event and is open to LP members and their families.

Summer Campout: Our Summer Campout is also coming up. We'll be camping out the nights of the 19th and 20th of August up at Jack's Gulch campground off of CO 14 (off of Pingree park road). This is a wheelchair accessible group campground with lots of camp pads, a pavilion, as well as good hiking and mountain biking nearby. This is a family friendly event, although many of us will likely stay up rather late by the fire. Smores and mead! Ted will be providing some other details in the weeks ahead.
