<div dir="ltr">I've gotten tanks recertified through AirGas before. Their preference is to just swap out tanks, when they do a refill. At first I was hesitant, but every time one of my tanks is up for recertification, I just trade it in at Airgas for the cost of a regular refill (then I refill at Jax until it expires again).<div>

<div><div dir="ltr">Hi Joel - I took my 20lb tank to Airgas for recertification and basically ended up giving my tank to them and buying their thank filled for about $48 if I remember correctly. It was a few months ago. So ended up with an ugly used tank in place of my nicely painted one. Can't remember exactly why that I just couldn't get mine re-certified, but it didn't work out that way.<br>
