<p class="MsoNormal">Our February meeting will be held next week on February 4^th
at Zwei Brwing Company from 7-9pm.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>A few
notes about this month’s meeting.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal">Membership:</b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">If you haven’t renewed your Liquid Poets membership for
2016, please make sure to come prepared to do so.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>We will be cleaning out the email list after
the March meeting so make sure to get your dues paid in the next month.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>Single memberships are $25 and Couple
memberships are $35.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"> </p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal">Tasting Panel:</b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Since we seem to always have a lot going on at meetings, and
those wanting feedback on beers may not always remember to bring 2 bottles, we
are going to try something new with the tasting panel over the next couple of
months.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>We are going to ask those who
are BJCP certified judges if they would be willing to give one-on-one feedback
to other members who are seeking it.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> 
</span>Those BJCP members who are willing would have a special name tag
denoting that they are willing to take a minute or two and review your beer with
you.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>If you are BJCP certified, and you
are willing to help out other club members at our meetings, please let one of the
Board Members know and we will get you setup with the special name tag.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal">Beer Social:</b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">As usually, we will gather around the beer table for the
first 15-20 minutes of the meeting and great new and old friends alike.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>Bring something you have made recently,
something you have had aging for a while, or anything in between.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>Let’s sample some great home brew and
generally relax for a bit!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal">Style of the Month:</b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Sorry for the delay in getting the schedule communicated to
everyone, but below is the schedule we will follow in 2016 for Style of the
Month.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>Overall the goal this year will
be to have a couple of commercial examples and a number of home brewed examples
at each meeting.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>The focus of the table
will be to examine the examples based on the BJCP Guidelines and see how will
they compare.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>Hopefully this will be in
informative table where members can get down and dirty with the details of the
chosen style.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">February’s Style of the Month is Flanders Red (23B) and Oud
Bruin ales (23C).<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">  </span>Since I didn’t get
this list out in time for anyone to brew a beer for February, I’m hoping that
some of our resident “Sour Heads” in the club bring some home brewed examples
for the table!  If you are interested in leading one of these tables, please let me know and I'll get you penciled in.<br></p>
