I just wanted to send a welcome to the several new members who have
joined in the last few weeks. I also wanted to help some of the new
and the no-so-new member with some instructions on the website (wiki).

Everyone is encouraged to use the
http://www.renegadebrewer.com/moin/NorthernColoradoChildFreeSocialGroup
wiki. If you have never used a wiki before, it's really quite simple.
A wiki is a website that anybody can grab a web page and modify the
content and even create brand new pages.

Once you get to the site, you'll probably want to create an account.
When you first view the site you'll see a link in the upper right
corner 'UserPreferences'. This will take you to a page where you can
create your account. It's usually best to make your account name
FirstnameLastname, but if you really feel the need to be somebody else
go right ahead ;-).

After your account has been created, you will be given a list of
preferences. The defaults are all good. However, I would suggest that
in the subscribed pages field that everyone list
NorthernColoradoChildFreeSocialGroup/EventsCalendar/* This entry will
tell the wiki to send you an email everytime something changes in one
of the calendar pages. This is an easy way to learn when new events
get scheduled or updated. If you don't want the extra email in your
inbox, you can always just remind yourself to look at the calendar
pages periodically.

If you want help getting started on creating or editing pages in the
wiki (for example you may want to create a home page to introduce
yourself), check out the http://www.renegadebrewer.com/moin/NewUsers

Also, feel free to check out the other areas on the wiki Brewing,
Recipes, Scotch Tastings, Northern Colorado Activities and Poker.

If a cute saying or a pretty poster are all it takes to motivate you, you probably have a very easy job. The kind robots will be doing soon.
