There was some discussion at the last meeting about a BJCP study
group.  Just wanted to let you know that KROC and Foam on the Range
(Boulder and Denver clubs) are putting one together for a test coming
up in November.

I don't really want to drive to Boulder every week, so I will not be
participating.  I can wait till we can get something going here.   But
I thought I'd forward this along to anyone who might be interested.

All,

After this e-mail I'll be using a BJCP e-mail list but
wanted to make sure that you know what's going on and
if you're interested and serious about joining our
study group and taking the BJCP Exam on November 4th,
this is your opportunity.

The initial BJCP kick-off meeting will be held at the
Falling Rock on Tuesday, Feb 21st from 7:00pm-9:30pm.
Jon Sanders and I will create an agenda in the next
day or so and get it sent out to everyone.  Please
visit the BJCP website to get familar with the program
and there is a direct link from the KROC website.

As you saw on my last e-mail we have an overwhelming
response from both KROC and FOTR to participate in the
study group.  This may allow us to have 2 groups that
could meet on different nights which is really a great
thing especially if you travel or just can't make it.
There are several people in the group who have already
taken the exam and have been judging for a while so
there will be a great deal of experience available
too.

increase your brewing knowledge and thus make better
