[FCBrewClub] Final reminder--8 Seconds of Froth entries due noon Friday 5 May

First, congratulations to the AHA 1st Round West Region winners from KROC and 
FOTR!   Those of us in Wyoming and Nebraska haven't seen the results of our 
separate judging regions yet.   I hope many of your entries from the AHA 
competition make there way to Cheyenne.

Just wanted to remind everyone that I'm heading down to Denver this Thursday 
and I'll start picking up entries at noon Friday, 5 May from both Beer at Home 
stores, The Brew Hut, What's Brewin' and finally Hops & Berries. For all you 
fellow procrastinators and homebrewers, I'll start in either Englewood or 
Aurora and make my way home.   I'm starting in the south and heading north.   I 
should be in Ft Collins by mid to late afternoon.   If you need to reach me my

Speaking of procrastinators--the trash talking has FINALLY started between 
KROC and FOTR regarding the Ace of Clubs travelling trophy which   we will be 
awarding again this year to the front range homebrew club which receives the 
most total participation (# entries and # judges/stewards) and award points (1st, 
2nd, 3rd and BOS).   ALL ENTRANTS BE SURE TO LIST YOUR PRIMARY HOMEBREW CLUB 
AFFILIATION--IF YOU FORGET, WE'LL GRANT YOU A TEMPORARY WEEKEND MEMBERSHIP IN 
THE HIGH PLAINS DRAFTERS!   . . . . . . . Last the year the competition was 
quite close and our host club High Plains Drafters was in contention.

Last year we had over 160 entries--we're anticipating another big 
competition.   We still need more judges and stewards.   We'd love to have your 
assistance with lunch provided for all particpants.   I'm the POC for 
judging/stewarding--if you even think you might be able to come to Cheyenne email me 
(windywy at aol.com) and I'll put you on my tentative list.
