Alright everyone, here's an update. We've got food, we've got beer,
we've got door prizes, we've got raffle prizes, we've got music, but
we don't have a location nailed. We've been trying to do this on the
cheap, and make it free to members, but considering the time
restraints, we're headed down "Plan B." Nothing's definite yet, but it
looks like we'll be renting for up to $50/hr (for about 6hr), which
means we'll need a $5 cover just to defer some of the cost from the
coiffures (which couldn't take the rental alone, not to mention having
a party afterward!)
I'll let everyone know when it's finalized, but just wanted to warm
you up to the idea, sin'ce I'd been hoping it would be free up till
now. It may still be, just can't promise it, and didn't want a mob
full of angry natives at my door.
It's going to be a great time, with some great food and beer. Looking
forward to seeing everyone in a couple weeks.
(If anyone knows a cheap facility that has even a basic kitchen, let me know!)
