Hi everybody,

My friend John Maday and I will be lecturing to the Northern Colorado
Beekeeper's Association about mead and mead making this Saturday at 2pm.
In the past, we've brewed a batch and talked. This time, we'll cover
some basics about brewing and mead styles/flavor profiles. We'll also
have a structured mead tasting with three contrasting meads.
Afterwards, there will be a less structured mead sharing. A number of
the other beekeepers make mead, so it should be pretty interesting.

I'd like to invite any of you to come out and share your mead and get
the chance to meet some beekeepers. Who knows? This could turn out to
be a good connection;-). Even if you don't have any mead to share, you
are welcome.

Mead lecture:
Saturday, October 18, 2-4pm
7109 Ranger, Ft. Collins

John's house is in SW Fort Collins near the intersection of Shields and
Trilby, in the Registry Ridge subdivision. Just south of Trilby, turn
west on Truxun into the neighborhood. Stay on Truxun for about 4 blocks
to where it ends. Turn left (south) on Ranger Drive. Take Ranger for
about five blocks. John's house (7109 Ranger) is on the right, a gray,
two-story. Call 970-226-4128 if you need help.

We hope to see you there,
Jester
