[Liquidpoets] Fwd: Water Profile

I've emailed "the guy" at the city as to why the hardness nearly doubles
from raw to treated water. There may be something wrong about the report,
although it's very similar to the one I got for '06 last year. At any rate,
that 41ppm number or whatever (average of the six sites) is CaCO₃, only some
of which is calcium. (Would that be 1/5 as calcium? I've seen 4/5 total
hardness as an estimate of calcium, but that doesn't make sense.)
Who knows lots about water and can make sense of this?
