[Liquidpoets] August Meeting

Hi All,

 

The next Liquid Poets meeting is this week Thursday, August 6th at New
Belgium Brewery at 7:30pm.  Please note the updated starting time.  They are
using the room until 7:00pm so we are not able to get in until 7:30pm.

 

Bring some home brew (beer, mead, wine, cider, etc) or some craft brew to
share.  This month we will have a special tasting panel for Rye beers.  If
you have a Rye beer bring it to get some feedback from other brewers using
Rye!  There will also be our usual Best of Show voting, Tasting Panels, and
a raffle ($1 or 1 bottle of beer per ticket).  Here is a MAP

The club has some great swag available from Café Press at
www.cafepress.com/liquidpoets.  Any funds form purchases go directly into
the club account to help fund competitions, brewery tours, etc.

 

Here is the tentative schedule:

 

7:30 – 7:45 Opening remarks and announcements.

7:45 – 8:15 General tasting

8:15 – 9:15 Group tasting panels and Rye Tasting Panel

9:15 – 9:30 Best of Show results and Raffle

9:30 – 10:00 Mingling and Cleanup
