Hey folks



Great meeting at NB.  Congratulations to Brian Thompson for winning the Best
of Show with his mushroom beer.  Here are some of the things coming up for
the future…



*Summer BBQ* – 8/22 – open to club members and family.  This will be hosted
at Ridgen Farm (see link).  The club will be providing meat (and vegi
burgers) and beer.  Come bring a side dish or dessert

*CO State Fair* – 8/29 – Deadline is Saturday 8/15 at Hops & Berries.  Note
that they require 3 bottles per entry. But only a $5 entry.  We are also
looking to get a car pool together for those interested.

*Muse Cup Mead Competition* – 9/13 – Our 2nd annual Mead & Cider
competition.  We are looking for judges and for meads to compete.

*Ft Collins Oktoberfest* – 9/26 – We are looking for volunteers to talk
about homebrewing and possibility of brewing a batch at the fest (Note this
is the same weekend as GABF, doh)



*Ethenol Plant Tour* – 10/11 – tour at Front Range Energy and possibility of
a brewery tour in Greeley.  Still working out the details.



*Boulder Brewery Trip* – 10/24 – planning on going to the different
breweries.  Plans are not set but we are looking to start off at Boulder
Beer, then to Mountain/Southern Sun for lunch.  Then off to Avery and ending
at Oskar Blues.
