[Liquidpoets] NHC 1st round

For those that haven't heard, NHC 1st round regionals will be here at Oskar
Blues.
Here's the message:

All,
Due to overwhelming response to hold the National Homebrew Competition 1st
round in the Longmont area this year, we have decided it will be held at the
new Oskar Blues taproom/brewery on April 25, 2009. We will most likely also
need to judge a flight or 2 of beers Friday night, April 24th, however that
judging will be held in the Denver area.

This is the official notice to mark your calendars and to volunteer to
either judge or steward for this event.

I will be working with hotels in the Longmont area to try to get us all a
special room rate up there for the weekend of 4/25 so as soon as I have
additional information on that, I will get it out to everyone. I will also
be putting together a flyer to include the details for the 4/25 day of
judging.

Now is the time to submit your names for volunteering to either judge or
steward on 4/25 (and if you can also help on 4/24 in the evening in Denver).

If you are interested in being a steward for the NHC 1st round, please
submit your name to Bernie Taillon (btaillon10 at msn.com).

If you are interested in being a judge for the NHC 1st round, please submit
your name to Scott Jackson (snowtiger87 at comcast.net).

We are anticipating as many entries in the NHC 1st round for our region as
we had last year (approx. 700), so we will need quite a few judges &
stewards to make this event successful!

Speaking of that, please share this with as many homebrew judges,
volunteers, etc that you know so we can be sure it gets out to all the local
clubs!
