[Liquidpoets] April 2009 Meeting

Hi All,

 

The next Liquid Poets meeting is next week Thursday, April 2nd at Fort
Collins Brewery at 7pm.  Bring some home brew (beer, mead, wine, cider, etc)
or some craft brew to share.  There will be Best of Show, Tasting Panels,
and a raffle ($1 or 1 bottle of beer per ticket).  Here is a MAP

Remi will be detailing the next Iron Brewer Challenge and he will also give
a quick presentation about growing hops for anyone interested.  He is going
to bring some hop rhizomes to share with anyone who would like to test out
their green thumb.  If you have some rhizomes to share as well, please bring
them.

 

The club has some great swag available from Café Press at
www.cafepress.com/liquidpoets.  Any funds form purchases go directly into
the club account to help fund competitions, brewery tours, etc.

 

Here is the tentative schedule:

 

7:00 – 7:15 Opening remarks and announcements.

7:15 – 7:45 General tasting and Hop Growing presentation

7:45 – 8:45 Group tasting panels

8:45 – 9:15 Best of Show results and Raffle

9:15 – 9:45 Mingling and Cleanup
