[Liquidpoets] July Meeting

Our next meeting is upon us - it will be this Thursday, July 1st, at Equinox
Brewing again (7pm).

We have a fair amount of random beer left from our competition a couple of
weeks ago - we'll try to come up with some basic information about what's
what. That means we probably won't be hurting for beer, but if you have
something interesting you want to share, or you want to participate in a
tasting panel, feel free to bring more.

Scoresheets and medals for local folks that entered our competition will
also be available if you haven't already picked them up at Hops and Berries.

August Camping Trip

The club camping trip that is scheduled for the weekend of August 14/15 is
rapidly approaching. We'll have more information about this and will be
looking to see who thinks they will be able to make it.

Iron Brewer Challenge

Just a reminder, the upcoming challenge is "lemon-esque beers". To up the
ante, Colin will be brewing a batch of the winning beer on his pilot system
to have on tap at Equinox. Judging will be at the September meeting, so
there is still plenty of time to brew.

Summer BBQ

Hopefully we'll have a date finalized by Thursday. Regardless, we'll have
more information about this at the meeting.

Upcoming Competitions

Gnarly Barley: Entries will be accepted from July 16-23 at the usual drop
off locations. Judging will be held Saturday, July 16 and the winners will
be announced at the festival on August 7th. More information is available

Colorado State Fair: Entries are accepted at the drop off locations from
August 9-14. Judging will happen August 27 in Pueblo, and the winners
announced at Foam Fest the day after. Information here:
