[Liquidpoets] December Meeting - Anheuser Busch

[Liquid Poets President]

Our next meeting will be this Thursday, December 2nd at Anheuser Busch
Brewery in north Fort Collins. This is the first time we've met there, and
it should be a great time.

The meeting will be held in the lobby at the front entrance of the glass
building on the east side of the main brewery; *not* the tour center. Coming
north on Busch Drive from I-25, the turnoff is to the administrative
offices, which is before the tour center. Everyone can park on the right
hand side parking lot (see attached map).

In addition to the meeting, Brian and the brewery folks at AB will be
offering some really interesting behind the scenes tours of the plant
beforehand. There will be two tours: one starting at 5:30 and one at 6:00.
If you've never seen the brewery, or have only been on the public tour, this
is a really great opportunity to see brewing on a very different scale. This
will be led by the brewing staff so they will be very knowledgeable and
should be able to answer all of your questions.

One important note - if you want to go on the tour close-toed shoes and long
pants will be required.

Winter Party
The Winter Party will be the following Saturday (December 4th) at the Rigden
Farms barn (map: http://bit.ly/fHIK9v). The party is open to all club
members and their significant others. We'll be providing beer and a main
dish, please bring a side dish to share.

There will be a silent auction of some cool beer items to benefit the
Larimer Food Bank, so bring your checkbook as well. Also, we usually have a
box for food donations if you have something you would like to give.

Board Elections
We will be finishing the election for board members and announcing the new
board at the meeting as well. I'm going to send out the list of nominees in
a separate email tomorrow, so you can vote over email if you can't make the
meeting. Otherwise we'll have ballets on Thursday.
