Hey everyone.  It's a little late to brew something for this year's Muse
Cup, but my fellow beekeeper, John Maday, is selling some of his honey.
Here's his email below.  He's offering a good price for locally produced
honey ($3/lb!).

 Guys:



If you don’t mind, please pass the word to the homebrewers that I’ll have
some honey for sale this year. Wouldn’t mind selling part of the harvest to
cover cost of bottles, etc.



I plan to put some in gallon milk jugs (12 pounds) and one-quart jars (3
pounds), making it easy to get enough for a batch of mead.



I checked prices from the National Honey Board site, and they’re listing an
average wholesale price of $3.50 per pound. Retail is $5. I’m thinking I’d
sell mead-sized quantities at $3/lb. -- $45 for 15 lbs.
