Poets,

As the winner of the last Iron Brewer challenge I have the honor of picking
the next challenge. When I was in San Diego for the NHC this year, I
attended a talk on unusual wood aging. I think this will make a great Iron
Brewer challenge...

The rules are:

1. Use any wood that is non-toxic and is not Oak.

Some exotic wood can be toxic, but if it is used in the food industry or
produces edible products it should be safe. Do research to make sure.

Beers will be judged like a best of show and should have a significant wood
character.

Look to websites that sell wood for BBQ they should have many food-safe
choices.

I have attached the presentation from Wayne Wambles (cigar city brewing) NHC
talk to help inspire you.

Good Luck!

Dave
