Disappointing Brian, I'll not be doing schizandra berry...

The rule for the Iron Brewer will be Tea or Coffee beers/wines/meads (except
for stouts/porters with coffee (that's just old hat)).

It will be judged as to the best overall balance.

I should mention that you can make amazing session (3.5-7.5%) meads quite
easily in 3 months (I'm shooting to push under 2 months with my current
batch). I will gladly help you with recipes/processes.

The judging will be in July (since the June meeting will be a bit cramped
with both WEIZ guys and Liquid Poets at Grimm Bros).

The judges will see:
1) Base type of beer.
2) Type of tea or coffee.
3) (and taste) The beer/wine/mead.

Tea includes leaf, chai, and herbal teas... Coffee includes both cold and
hot brewed coffees...

I will not enter this contest, as I think it would be more fun to judge...

I'll also give 4lbs of Centennial hops to the winner, 2 lbs for second, and
1lb for third. (Note: 2008 hop harvest, indirectly donated via NBB).

Thanks,
Kyle
