Anyone up for drinking beer all day saturday? Looks like the IPA folks
could use some more help with their competition. This has always been
a fun competition, and they have been great at supporting us in the
past.

For the BJCP exam folks this is a great chance to get some practical
experience, and the points you get will be applied once you take the
test so you'll be that much closer to your Master ranking :)

Let me know if anyone is interested in carpooling. I'll start a
conversation on the forums today if I can as well.

The Peak-to-Peak ProAm is this week. We have 269 entries, 30 flights
of beers, 4 breweries, and not enough judges. If you can judge this
week, please reply to this e-mail so I can get you registered. To
handle all of the flights, we're planning on sessions Thursday (March
17th) and Friday (March 18th) evenings, and morning and afternoon
sessions on Saturday (March 19th). All judging will take place at Left
Hand Brewing in Longmont, CO. For the evening sessions judging will
start at 7 p.m. (6:30 sign in). On Saturday the morning session will
start at 9 a.m. (8:30 sign in), and the afternoon session will start
at 1 p.m. (12:30 sign in, not really an issue if you are there for the
morning session). On Saturday we'll have breakfast, lunch, and a
dinner along with the awards.

If you can judge any or all sessions, please e-mail me:

Which sessions you can judge.
Which categories you can't judge because of your entries in the competition.
BCJP rank and number, if applicable, or professional credentials.
If you have strong preferences for categories to judge or not judge,
those as well; but given logistics and #1-3, we can't promise to honor
these.

As an incentive to sign up and as a reward for your time, we will give
Centennial pellet hops to every judge. Several of Colorado's Front
Range brewers (Left Hand, the Pumphouse, Oskar Blues, and Crabtree
Brewing) will be on hand to judge and will be selecting entries for
the 2011 GABF Pro-Am competition. We will be judging all BJCP beer
styles as defined in the 2008 guidelines, but no meads or ciders.
Check out our website for more information.
