Subject: [Liquidpoets] Raspberry Blossom Honey

All,
I'm looking to get together an order of raw raspberry blossom honey in the next month. I already have close to a barrel (55 gallons) accounted for, and am extending the deal to the club. This is a relatively hard to obtain honey, and I'm quite happy to have a source.

It'll be around 2.65/lb (maybe less the more people that are in), with 60lb/5 gallon minimums (feel free to work with others if four 5 gallon batches of semi-sweet mead is too much - I'm willing to broker deals among people, although I'd much rather not deal with honey distribution of those smaller amounts). Honey lasts for decades if stored properly (sealed, and under 110F is sufficient - best if under 65F).

Notes on the honey: Raspberry blossom honey has many aromas of fresh raspberry fruit, as well as aromas of raspberry blossoms. This is a rare instance where the honey tastes like the fresh fruit (fruit from before fermentation), and can provide a pleasant finish (mead post fermentation) with flavors and aromas of fresh raspberries. Raspberry honey may also have fresh floral aromas. It melds very well with raspberries and other 'berry' fruits such as blackberry, blueberry, and lingonberry.

If you could please indicate your interest by the 31st of May that would be best.
Thanks,Kyle
