[Liquidpoets] IPA Judging----8 Seconds of Froth--Sunday, 5 May & (Saturday, 11 May)

Well all our entries to this year's 8 Second of Froth are logged in--367 received/paid.
 
And there were a total of 43 IPAs--including 12 each from the Oregon Brew Crew and the Tampa Bay BEERS.
 
Several of you have already committed to judging this IPA category on this upcoming Sunday, 5 May, and several more of you have tentatively said you might be available.  My goal is to break this category down into 4 or 5 flights to speed up the judging time and also limit fatigue to our taste buds. It would be desirable to put two BJCP judges on each of these flights if possible and then provide the opportunity for a third provisional or novice to also participate.
 
We're planning to start the judging at 2:00 pm and hold the judging at:
Depot Street Merchants, 316 W. 15th St., Cheyenne WY

Following this judging session the High Plains Drafters will provide some pizza and liquid refreshments to all our volunteers and a special gift for each of our out-of-town judges.
 
If you're receiving this email as a Cc:, I already have an affirmative commitment from you and you have registered as a judge.
 
If you're receiving this email as a To: You've expressed a tentative commitment or possibly just expressed an interest in more details or you just reside in either SE Wyoming or NE Colorado--Please reply to this email if you can commit to this Sunday's special session.  And if you have not already logged in to judge, please register/login on the competition website so that I have all your contact information/BJCP # for reporting purposes (If you are only available on 5 May--still register as a judge for one of the Sat, 11 May sessions but let me know in your email that you'll only be judging on 5 May.)


And if you are not available to judge of on 5 May, but are available available on Saturday, 11 May and haven't signed up yet--please do so!
