Doc,

I sent out en email on Tuesday about the meeting. I'm not sure why you
didn't get it. Maybe check your spam folder and see if it's in there. I
actually sent out 3 emails that day, so hopefully you got them. It also
says that we are meeting at Funkwerks on the calendar on LP website.
Additionally, this info was also posted to the LP Facebook page. We will
be going live with a new website within a few months, and it is my hope
that more people will use the website once we have a nice modern site and
forum. A lot of work is going on behind the scenes to get that done. As
for doing a table with single hop beers, that's fine with me. We can make
a table for that, so bring 'em if you got 'em.

Below is the email that I sent out on Tuesday.

Cheers,

Matt

Hey Poets,

Our next LP meeting will be at Funkwerks on Thursday, March 7th @ 7:00 PM.

We will have a beer social for the first ~ 15 min. You can bring any
homebrews you would like to share with the group.

1) We will be doing a tasting panel. If you have any beers (or meads and
ciders) that you want specific feedback on please bring them. This is an
opportunity to get very direct comments on beer attributes and style for
your good or bad beers. Also, if you have beer that you know has a specific
"problem" - bring it! This is a great educational opportunity to train
other people on beer attributes and taints.

2) Sweet Stout (BJCP 13B) is the March style of the month. If you have a
one, please bring it for the table. We will also have some commercial
examples for this style. These discussions will be led by BJCP judges and
are a great opportunity to really dissect the diversity and qualification
for certain beer styles.

Also, the style of the month for the remainder of the year is listed below:

April - Weizen/Weissbier (15A)
May - Maibock / Helles Bock (5A)
June - Saison (16C)
July - Bohemian Pilsner (2B)
August - Belgian Tripel (18C)
September - Oktoberfest (3B)
October - Spice, Herb, or Vegetable (21A)
November - Imperial IPA (14C)
December - Russian Imperial Stout (13F)
