[Liquidpoets] 6th Annual Liquid Poetry Slam 2013 - Calling All Judges

All, 

For those I haven't met, my name is Cy Bevenger, and I have the pleasure of serving as Judge Coordinator for the 2013 Liquid Poetry Slam.  This competition continues to grow every year and has consistently proven to be a great event.  This year is shaping up to be no exception.  The competition is scheduled on June 1st and 2nd in Fort Collins at C.B. & Potts (Big Horn Brewing).  The address is 1415 West Elizabeth, Fort Collins, CO 80521.


We are expecting to exceed the 576 entries we judged last year, and for the first time we have combined the Poetry Slam with the Muse Cup mead and cider competition normally held later in the summer.  This basically means that we need a lot of help to pull this off.  Note that there is a 10 entry per person limit this year for beer (no limit for mead and cider).  If you are willing to help out, please go to the website below and sign up as a judge.  Also, if you know anyone that might not be comfortable judging, but is looking to help out we are in need of stewards as well.  You can sign up at the same website to be a steward.  Both judges and stewards are absolutely needed to pull off a quality competition.


We are very excited to have several Pro-Ams confirmed and may be lucky enough to have a few more confirmed before the competition.  Entry registration closes May 23rd, so get your own beer, mead, and cider entered soon before the cap is reached.  Judging registration will stay open until closer to the competition, but please sign up as soon as you can to help me in organizing the flights and assignments.
