This is great - we already have a full slate of brewers for this project! The vote went strongly to the Flanders Red recipe, so that is what we will brew. I will get a specific recipe formulated and post it before the weekend. Feel free to go ahead with the general outline below if you want to brew before I post the "official" recipe.

We are slightly oversubscribed with 14 brewers, verses a target of 13 (we should have one extra share due to some batches being a bit less than five gallons and the possibility of someone flaking out.) The current brewer list is:

We will set a date for the transfer once the beer is brewed. We usually transfer on a weekday, so perhaps Thursday December 19 should be our target.

Hi Poets -

It is time to get our beer out of the barrel and brew a replacement batch! I am looking for a dozen brewers willing to wait a year until they get their beer, but it will be delicious...

Participants get to vote on one of three recipes. The recipe with the most votes wins!
1) Flanders Red (50% Pilsner, 25% Munich, 10% Wheat malt, 5% Aromatic, 5% CaraMunich, 5% Special "B", 1.057  O.G.)
2) Blonde Ale (90% Pilsner, 10% Wheat malt, 1.055  O.G.)
3) Strong Wheat (50% Wheat malt, 40% Pilsner, 10% Vienna, 1.070 O.G.)

We will brew in the first half of November (soon!), and transfer in the middle of December.
