[Liquidpoets] Board Nominations Needed

Hi All,

We need a few more board nominations for next year. If you enjoy this club
and want to see it succeed, this is your chance to help.

We can use nominations for all positions, but especially need nominations
for the following:

1. Vice-President. This is by far the easiest position on the board: show
up, drink beer, kick some ideas around and (maybe) run an errand or two for
the club all year. If you're new and want to see what happens behind the
scenes of this club without too much responsibility, this is the perfect
position.

2. Competition Coordinator. This is an extremely important position and not
as tough as it seems. There's a flurry of activity leading up to our
competition in April and then nothing the rest of the year (except showing
up, drinking beer, and kicking around ideas). The job around planning the
competition is eased by the committee that you and the president will put
together. Lots of folks with lots of experience will step up to help you
out. You just need to coordinate the planning.

3. Board at Large. I seriously cannot believe that I do not yet have four
names for these positions. Those of you who have been around a while: step
up.

I cannot stress how important all board positions are. We have had a
tremendously successful club for years now, and it all relies on the behind
the scenes planning and preparation provided by the board. THIS IS YOUR
CLUB! So lend a hand. It's both fun and rewarding.
