[Liquidpoets] Portland Breweries

Cascade Barrel House was my favorite when I was there. It had just opened.
Probably Hair of the Dog next, which I think is in the same general area?
We had a car (pregnant sisters make the best vacation DDs!), but I think
you could get there by bus pretty easily.

This article has some good tips for going car-free in Portland:
http://grist.org/green-living-tips/2011-02-23-your-guide-to-a-great-green-weekend-in-portland/

(Yeah yeah, I follow these kinds of websites. You already know I'm a total
"greenie", so leave me alone.) :P

If you want a good breakfast place, check out Jam, also in that same area.
It was SE of the downtown area, across the river; I think it was called the
Hawthorne District.

Hope that helps! Have a great trip.
