[Liquidpoets] Big Brew on May 2 - more details

Hi Poets and guests,

Some final info for Big Brew, coming up on Saturday!  The festivities will
start at 9am; please contact Dan at seaveyd927 at gmail.com if you need to
make special arrangements for dropping stuff off earlier than that.

The address for Dan's house is 2100 Eastwood Drive, Fort Collins, near
Edora Park and EPIC, close to the Power Trail.  We will want to minimize
the parking congestion around his house (and his neighbors' houses) by
carpooling or dropping off stuff at the house then parking down the
street. * Please
keep the driveway clear for people to unload their equipment.*  Looks like
there is street parking to the west on Kirkwood or further northwest on
Creekwood.  If you have to, you can park at EPIC or the Edora Park lot and
walk over, but please do not park in the nearby apartment complex's lot.

What we ask is that you bring everything you need to brew a batch of beer
except the water, which will be provided.  Extra hoses, tools, containers
for spent grain and chill water, and maybe an extra hop scale for the
forgetful ones are always appreciated.  *Please bring a plywood board or
something to put under your propane burner so we don't all scorch Dan's
yard. * Cider, wine, and mead counts too, so bring the stuff for that if
it's a lot easier for you than bringing your brew system.

We'd like to invite everyone to bring a side dish to accompany the burgers,
brats, and other grillables the club will provide.  Other items to bring
might be camping or lawn chairs, sunscreen, a non-glass cup so you don't
have to use a stupid red Solo cup, etc.

If you have volunteered to bring a keg of beer to be served, please also
bring your receipt for ingredients.  There will be plenty of beer, so we'd
like to ask that you drink responsibly, bring a DD (spouses and kids are
welcome), and take care not to drive home intoxicated.  We want to be
respectful of both Dan's house and his neighbors.  The club will provide a
port-o-let so we don't destroy his plumbing, too!

We have a bunch of hops left over from Poetry Slam donations, so please use
some for your brew or take them home.  We'll provide ziplock bags so you
can help yourselves to the goodness.  Some of them are crystal, amarillo,
mandarina bavaria, comet, and azacca, and others are experimental varieties
with no names, donated by Odell.
