[Liquidpoets] Coffee/beer tasting/selection/pairing

Hi LP — 

Just wanted to give any of you who were interested a heads up (with extremely short notice — sorry!) that Chris Schooley (of Coffee Shrub and Troubadour Maltings) is presenting a coffee-and-beer tasting in the Horse & Dragon taproom tomorrow (Tuesday, 8/18) from 4-6 p.m. I've watched Chris and Linsey at work searching for the exact coffee/malt/hop combo they want, and it's pretty fascinating. His take:  "Every roaster and brewer will tell you that the most exciting part about creating a coffee beer is trying different combinations to see what they can come up with. Join us to take part in this experience as we try some fresh tasty beers paired with different fresh tasty coffees. You will be surprised!”  

I know several of you all have brewed coffee beers and thought some might find Chris’s expertise interesting (and no doubt vice-versa, as well).
