[Liquidpoets] 2015 Board Member Updates

[Liquid Poets President]

Hello Poets,

First, the board would like to thank Alison for her leadership for the past
6 months.  We greatly appreciate all that she has done for the club and she
will be greatly missed.  Due to Alison's departure, the board was charged
with filling some vacant positions.

Due to Alison's departure, I have assumed the position of President and I
am excited about the opportunity to serve the club in this capacity.  Per
the club bylaws, vacant positions must be filled by board appointment
within 30 days.  We have decided to appoint a current board member and
member at large to the positions of Vice President and Event Coordinator.

Joel English, former Event Coordinator, has been appointed as Vice
President. Joel's unwavering dedication to the club will make him a great
Vice President.  Given his experience planning events for the membership,
it is without a doubt Joel will continue to be an asset to the board and
club as a whole.

Alex Grote, former member at large, has been appointed as Event
Coordinator.  Alex's historical knowledge of the club and experience in
planning events will ensure a great member experience and a well structured
calendar.

The board recently opened up self-nominations at the last monthly meeting.
We are excited to welcome Mike Borden to the board.  Mike has been an
active member who represents the club in a positive light.  He will be
serving as your newly appointed member at large.  Thank you to Mike for
taking on this exciting yet challenging position.

On behalf of the 2015 board, we want to thank you for making Liquid Poets
great!
