I would love to be involved with either. The amber sounds great, but wee
heavy sounds like more fun.

Subject: [Liquidpoets] 2016 NBB Barrel Project - call for participants

Hello Liquid Poets,

At the recent sour tasting hosted by NBB we decided that the current barrel
project (Strong Golden) is ready to come out of the barrel. That means it is
time to get the next batch started! If you are interested in participating
please respond to this email with your preference from the following two
recipe options:

1) Medium strength amber: 5.5% ABV with 50% or more Munich malt
2) Scottish Wee Heavy: 8.5% ABV, recipe something like
http://growlermag.com/homebrew-recipe-scotch-ale-issue5/ but with a lower
IBU. Note the labor involved in making this recipe!

These recipe options are open to modification; we can talk about it at the
LP meeting on Thursday.

The schedule will be to brew in January with a target of mid February to go
into the barrel.

Ted
