[Liquidpoets] Saturday 1:00 barrel transfer and wild beer picnic cookout

Hi all,


The Liquid Poets' barrel project will have a Wild Beer Picnic and Cookout this Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00. This is the time when we will take the current project (wee heavy) out of the barrel and replace it with the next project (traditional lambic).



The schedule will be:

1:00 - Start Wee Heavy transfer out of barrel

1:45 - Bring barrel to Funkwerks for hot water cleaning

2:30 - Start Lambic transfer into barrel

3:30 - All transfer done

4:00 - Wrap up



Dan has offered to have a grill available for people to cook with. I will bring a package of brats and some buns, as well as some samples from previous club barrel projects for you to enjoy.

Feel free to bring some food or drink to share (this is optional!). Gluten-free food only for the grill please because Dan's wife has Celiac and we cannot risk her getting sick from cross contamination.
