Subject: Arvada on Tap - Homebrew Judging

Good afternoon everyone,
  As many of you know, the second annual Arvada on Tap is on July 23rd.
Ralston Park (64th and Simms)

Last year was a blast and I thank those of you who participated.

This year, we're expecting 100 homebrew entries and will divide them into 6 categries:
Category 1 - Lights and Lagers, BJCP categories 1 through 6
Category 2 - US/UK ales and Amber Hybrids, BJCP categories 7-10
Category 3 - Dark Ales, BJCP categories 11-13
Category 4 - Strong Ales, BJCP categories 14 and 19
Category 5 - German Wheat and Belgian, BJCP categories 15-18
Category 6 - Specials, BJCP categories 20-23

I suspect that we'll have at least two judging sessions to get through all 100 entries.
The city of Arvada would also like to judge the Best in Show during the event and announce the winner that day.
