Hello,

My name is Caitlin and I am writing to you on behalf of the Oregon Brew
Crew homebrew club from Portland, Oregon about the SheBrew Competition, an
upcoming AHA/BJCP homebrew competition we’re holding for amateur female
homebrewers (21 and older).

Your website is such an excellent source of information for homebrewers,
and we think our is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate women brewers and
get more women involved in the homebrew community where perhaps their
voices and talents are often overshadowed. We would love it if you could
share this information about SheBrew with your online audience to hopefully
reach more women and empower them to get more involved in the homebrew
community.

Below you’ll find the details of the competition. I’ve also included some
pre-written social media posts (feel free to tweak them as you’d like) to
help us spread the word. Attached you will find our official competition
flyer as well as social graphics.

1st Annual SheBrew Homebrew Competition

AHA/BJCP Homebrew Competition for amateur female Homebrewers, 21 and older.

In conjunction with the annual SheBrew Festival which features tastings of
homebrewed beers and commercially produced beers by local breweries, the
Oregon Brew Crew is pleased to announce our first homebrew competition for
amateur female homebrewers.
