[Liquidpoets] Holiday Party

Please RSVP to this email if you’d like to attend the Holiday party and
please tell us how many will attend with you.

If you’ve already received an email from me with the holiday party details,
you don’t need to RSVP.

TLDR;

For those of you with questions regarding this. There was an email that
went out to the list detailing that you must RSVP for this year's Holiday
Party by responding to that email. The announcement was reiterated at the
November meeting.

As an explanation: a smaller venue was chosen due to the very poor showing
at the summer BBQ and the low interest rate indicated by the website's
Holiday Party poll (also announced via the email list and at the September
and October meetings). As well as a general lack of venues available on the
top-choice date.

The venue choice, at the time, seemed more than adequate.

In the future I urge you to: read announcements on the list carefully and
to participate in polls and surveys put forth on the website. We actually
do use them for gauging interest and planning our events.

The intent was to plan more accurately, given the lower membership and
participation in other club events, not to leave anyone out.

I’m actively scrambling to find a more accommodating venue. If you did NOT
get an email from me with the details about the Holiday party, but would
like to attend. RSVP to this email with the number of people in your party.
