Alrighty Poets, I've had a few people step up, but we still need quite a
bit of help to make this comp happen. Paying your dues is the easy part of
membership!
Especially the newer folks, please check your calendar and jump in as
you're able. It is a ton of fun, and you'll get to know and be a part of
the Poets beyond simply showing up to meetings.
Most of the help is fairly unskilled. Do not sweat if you haven't worked in
a comp before. There will be lots of hand-holding.
- SHWAG COLLECTION - Still need - mostly legwork, email/phone to invite
breweries to give stuff, then picking up said stuff
- ENTRY PICKUP - Looking good. Thanks Doug, Clim, Fred. We will be in
touch regarding details.
- SORTING 9/9 - I have heard from a couple of people, but this is SO
much easier and faster when there's 8-12 sets of hands. Again, easy job,
super helpful.
- JUDGE DIRECTOR - Still need. As we get closer I will start strong
arming the enlisted judges, but I'm hoping one of you will step forward.
- HEAD STEWARD - Still need. Same as above.
- JUDGES - Reggie is up and running. We've had a few sign up, but
historically it all happens the final week. I'm hoping we Poets can jump in
and get tallied sooner than later.
- STEWARDS - Same as above. SIGN UP FOR SINGLE SHIFTS IF NECESSARY!
- SOMETHING ELSE : Last week I thought of another important thing we
need help with. Can't remember it now. But if you're available, please do
THAT.
Thanks everyone. Going to be fun! Lots of Pro-Ams, some good prizes rolling
in from our sponsors.... Get signed up!
