Hello Poets,

To follow up and clarify Doug's announcement at last meeting, the club
board members are excited to reintroduce the Project Proposal program.
While we have a lot of great ideas, we board members don't always know what
members want out of the club. This is a chance to offer your input on how
club funds are used and curate club events.

Want to experiment with different hops/malt/yeast flavors, new brew
contraption, sensory panel, brew talk by your favorite local brewer, yeast
bank class? Maybe the club has done something in the past and you missed
out and would like to see it repeated. (board members don't always know
what the new members have missed out on). These proposals can be
informative classes, experimental, fun, and/or tasty! All ideas will be
considered and the board will select proposals based on creativity,
returned value to club, cost, and scheduling.

One expectation is that if the club does support an experiment, the
drinkable results should be shared at a club meeting (e.g. bring a growler
or so), along with a short presentation. We want the other members to learn
from your experience. Fill out the form and give us an idea of how long it
will take to prepare (prep time) so that we can plan a taste panel at a
future meeting.

Other ideas may be more appropriate for their own session or meeting, like
a sensory panel, water chemistry talk, yeast stir plate building/demo,
recipe formulation class.  We are happy to help facility finding a location
and presenter, but the more you help plan, the better. If you can host,
AWESOME, otherwise we can help find location/presenter/materials if need
be.

No idea is too crazy and might possibly spawn something great. Either

One last caveat is that funding is only available for approved projects
from *current, paid up members*.
