[Liquidpoets] Liquid Poets meeting: Feb 1 at Intersect Brewing

Hello Poets,

The new board and I are very happy to do our part to make the Liquid Poets
the most successful homebrew club in Northern Colorado (we'll start
regionally and build global domination from there).

Our next meeting is next Thursday (1 February) at Intersect Brewing
<http://intersectbrewing.com/> (2160 W. Drake Rd. A-1), from 7-9 pm. If
you'd like, please come out a little early to support the brewery

We'll have our normal club activities. The style of the month is big beers.
If you have something big and extreme, this is the time to bring it to our
tasting panel to discuss along with some commercial examples.

We're also going to try a couple of new things. The first is a vote for the
favorite homebrew of the night. We're bringing that back to recognize the
great brewers in the club. The other is an idea Ted rolled out at the
holiday party. It's a little judging challenge -- we'll serve a beer and
you'll get to guess whether it's ale or lager, what the style is, and which
particular beer you think it is.

We've discussed other ideas, but above all, we want to hear from you! If
there's something you'd like to see the club doing, let us know. In the
coming months, we'll also be surveying you for proposals for things like
presentations and interesting experiments.
