[Liquidpoets] Hops (and Goodbye for now)

Hi All,

I have an extensive hop collection that I'll be giving away at tomorrow's
meeting. If you'd like some free hops, plz attend.

TL;DR

Drinking beer, especially homebrew (and other really good beer), gives me
gout. My attacks have been increasing in frequency and ferocity for several
years and I finally reached the threshold where the pain from the gout
superseded my love for beer and this hobby.

I have quit drinking beer and am putting down brewing indefinitely. I will
continue in my role on the board-at-large for the remainder of the year,
updating the website, etc. However, tomorrow will be my last meeting and I
won't return to the club next year.

I'm not saying "never again", but that's essentially the mantra for now.
It's been an incredible journey that I've enjoyed very much. I count all of
you as friends. Plz keep in touch (you have my email).
